After spending over 30 years specialising in the production of high-quality business stationery and NCR continuous business forms, over the last few years our parent company found itself being asked more and more to produce high-quality business cards, because our clients couldn’t find a supplier they were satisfied with - this is something that we had previously avoided in order to be able to provide a specialist service to our high-volume business clients. However, after spending much time researching quality business cards for one particular high-profile client, our parent company was shocked to discover that there was a huge gap in the market. Indeed, there were a large number of printing “companies” that could produce business cards. But, as was quickly discovered, there was an abundance of low-cost, low-end business card providers simply selling a cheap, inferior product: either targeting customers who didn’t seem to care about their business image, or taking advantage of those who weren’t experienced enough to know the difference. These companies and websites also often offered a “design service”, which usually consisted of a number of generic, uninspiring, standardised templates for the customer to choose from, with very few options.
At the other end of the scale, were the “traditional” printers, who could indeed provide a good quality product - but at what would now become to be considered an unreasonably expensive price - even more so for the most popular, lower quantities of cards.
We knew that recent technological advances meant that - coupled with the correct knowledge, experience and dedication - we could provide a product and service that was unrivaled in its quality - while at a price that just a few years ago would have been impossible to offer.
Consequently, we made the decision to launch Ultimate Business Cards as an exciting specialist arm of the company - and to provide for this very evident gap in the market. We hand-picked a talented, passionate team to look after this “new” venture for us, and as such, our quality of product, and our personal service, is incredibly difficult to equal.
Our Head Office is based in Leeds, West Yorkshire, and we have many satisfied clients throughout the local areas, including Leeds, Huddersfield, Bradford, Halifax, Harrogate, York, and many more; as well as much further afield - many of our clients come from London; as well as Scotland, Wales, Manchester, Leicester, Birmingham, Kent, Coventry, and now the rest of the world: we've recently been dealing with a number of clients in Spain, Sweden, Germany, Austria, Australia and even the United States.
