Introducing our Premium Individual range. We're delighted to now offer a choice of unique, exclusive business card finishes, which are designed with the discerning client in mind.
If you're hoping for your business card to make even more of an impact, then our Individual range may be for you. These options are primarily intended for those in creative fields (e.g. design, photography, the arts), as well as for personal business cards, but of course they're also an excellent choice for a wide range of business types.

Please note: for most clients, our Premium lithographic business cards will be the best choice, as these are available in full colour, in a wide range of quantities, and they're quicker to produce.

Please note: This type of card is not suitable for multi-colour designs, very fine detail, complex designs or e.g. gradients/photographs; for this you will need our Premium LITHO business cards.

All prices exclude VAT, and delivery (£10+VAT on Individual orders), and assume vectorised production-ready artwork supplied.

Quantities can be split down for e.g. different names/contact details for £20-£40 per split (dependent on total quantity).
Debossing and hot foiling
Debossing is when the content is pressed into the card, resulting in an indentation; and the foil we use for text/graphics on our Individual business cards, is usually partially debossed as part of the hot foil process (though the card and foil colours chosen, as well as the artwork being used, can limit the amount of impression depth achievable, to zero in some cases!). Blind debossing (the content pressed into the card with no colour or foil) usually results in the deepest impression depth and the most extreme effect (all things considered).

Letterpress (ink) Business Cards
These are available on white card only, the same thickness as the cards above (540gsm Colorplan card), and may be another option if your artwork/specifications are suitable for this process. We may be able to offer a lower quote for the "letterpress" option (ink, rather than foil) for this - please contact us for further details.
More about our Foiled Business Cards
Foiling is one of our specialities, and the combinations available for hot foil colours/finishes and our custom card colours are almost endless. These business cards are expertly produced, with extreme care and attention to detail, and we think the startling results speak for themselves. Hot foil - available in a variety of colours, including gold, silver, copper and many more - is pressed into the card, which adds texture and interest, and can have a unique metallic shine that changes intriguingly in different lights, as well as gloss and matt finishes. These are available on e.g. Colorplan 540gsm ultra-thick bespoke card - which has a natural, grained texture; and is available in a wide range of colours - and we believe they're amongst the most exclusive and unique business cards available. 700gsm card is also available if you want something even thicker!
NOTES
Artwork: Unless suitable “print-ready” artwork is supplied, there will be an artwork charge of approx. £25 for creating artwork to your draft/layout/design (logos extra). If you're supplying your own artwork, please supply as 100% black on white background, as a vectorised PDF, separated for colour. A mock-up of your design will also be useful if there's more than 1 colour on the same side.
Photographs, samples and choices: Please be aware that features of our Individual business card range e.g. (but not limited to) debossing and foiling, are heavily light-dependent, and are variable, and the appearance, contrast, colour etc. of the features depends on many factors, including (but not limited to): lighting hitting the card/elements, exact foil/features and card combinations chosen, and the artwork used. Your physical card(s) may therefore vary from e.g. a photograph on our website or a physical sample you have received, and depending on your exact artwork and chosen card/foil/features. Please note that the different card colours, foil colours, and the combination(s) thereof, and the specific artwork being used, can affect the perceived and/or actual rigidity and/or thickness of the card, and/or the impression-depth achievable with both blind debossing and hot foiling, as well as the quality of foiling achievable; so it is always best to ask for a sample of the specific card and foil(s) you'll be using, as well as the actual artwork, before ordering (there may be a charge for this as part of your order) to be sure of your choices before deciding; though natural variations can still occur between production runs. If you're unsure of the suitability of either your provided artwork, or your card/foil/feature choices, or the results to expect, please contact us to arrange for a physical sample to be produced as part of your order (at additional cost). Due to the nature of the processes involved, and the bespoke nature of the materials used, card and foiling may naturally vary to within normal tolerances, between production runs and between the individual cards themselves, and two cards are unlikely to be 100% identical (which can add to their charm!).
Size: Standard sized 85x55mm
Card: The standard card we use is Colorplan 540gsm. This is an uncoated card with a natural grain (matt) finish and is noticeably thicker and more tactile than the majority of business cards you'll come across. This is partly due to the fact that standard (mass-production) printing processes (digital and litho) are unable to print onto this thickness/type of card. To give a comparison, most business cards you will come across are only around 300gsm, and many are even less.
Card colours: A wide range of card colours are available, inc. duplexed card and different textures - please contact us for a custom quote.
Foil colours: A wide range of foil colours are available - but not neccessarily PMS matches - please contact us for more information.
Multiple sets: The foil process is well-suited to small sets of cards with different names - if you wish to have different cards for various staff members, please ask us for a quote.
Courier delivery is £10 on Individual orders; and all prices are + VAT. Prices offered are subject to “sight” of design/artwork/logo.
